Erin earned her B.A. in psychology from Alma College, as well as her M.S. in experimental psychology from Western Illinois University. She studies autobiographical memory and narrative identity, which focuses on how life stories change and how our memory system supports our sense of self. She is also interested in the cognitive changes that occur during offender rehabilitation that contribute to reducing recidivism.
